Shipping Protection

Resin Rockers Shipping Protection is an optional package protection service offered by Resin Rockers. When Shipping Protection is included with your order at checkout, your shipment may be eligible for a replacement, refund, or store credit if your package is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit, subject to the requirements below.

Shipping Protection is not a product warranty, return policy, cancellation policy, or satisfaction guarantee. It applies only to eligible shipping-related issues for orders that included Shipping Protection at the time of purchase.

By purchasing from Resin Rockers and using Shipping Protection, you agree to this Shipping Protection Policy, our Terms of Service, our Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy, and all other posted Resin Rockers policies.

What Shipping Protection Covers

Shipping Protection may cover:

  • Lost packages
    If your package appears to be lost in transit and carrier tracking has not updated for the required waiting period.
  • Stolen packages
    If your package is marked as delivered by the carrier but you did not receive it.
  • Damaged packages
    If your order arrives damaged due to shipping or carrier handling.
  • Missing items caused by transit damage
    If items are missing because the package was visibly damaged, opened, or compromised during transit.

What Shipping Protection Does Not Cover

Shipping Protection does not cover:

  • Orders that did not include Shipping Protection at checkout
  • Orders where Shipping Protection was removed, declined, or disabled
  • Orders shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address entered by the customer
  • Packages marked delivered to the address provided at checkout when no supporting evidence is provided
  • Packages forwarded, redirected, held, or rerouted after shipment
  • Carrier delays, weather delays, holiday delays, customs delays, or other delays outside Resin Rockers’ control
  • Missed project deadlines, classes, events, gifts, craft shows, business sales, or personal timelines
  • Minor damage to the outer shipping box or mailer when the product itself is not damaged
  • Damage that occurs after delivery
  • Claims filed outside the required claim window
  • Claims with incomplete, false, inconsistent, or misleading information
  • Claims where the customer refuses to provide reasonable documentation
  • Repeated claims from the same customer, account, household, or shipping address that show unusual or excessive claim activity
  • Shipping Protection also does not cover lost profits, lost income, loss of use, lost savings, project delays, event delays, or any other indirect or consequential damages.

When to File a Claim

Lost Packages — Domestic Orders

For domestic shipments, claims for packages presumed lost may be filed no sooner than 7 days after the last carrier tracking update.

Claims must be filed no later than 30 days from the last carrier tracking update.

Lost Packages — International Orders

For international shipments, claims for packages presumed lost may be filed no sooner than 20 days after the last carrier tracking update.

Claims must be filed no later than 30 days from the last carrier tracking update.

Delivered But Not Received

If tracking shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it, your claim must be filed within 30 days of the delivery date and time shown by the carrier.

Before filing a claim, please check:

  • Your porch, mailbox, garage, side door, parcel locker, and any other delivery area
  • With household members
  • With neighbors
  • With your apartment office, condo office, mailroom, front desk, or package room
  • With your local carrier office

Damaged Orders

Damage claims should be filed as soon as the damage is discovered.

Please keep the damaged item, shipping box or mailer, packing materials, and shipping label until your claim has been fully reviewed.

Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order is missing an item or contains the wrong item, you must contact Resin Rockers within 7 days of delivery.

Missing or incorrect items are handled through our customer service/order issue process and may require review of packing records, order photos, fulfillment notes, shipping weight, or other internal records.

Shipping Protection applies to missing items when the issue appears to be caused by transit damage, package tampering, or carrier handling.

What We May Need From You

To review your claim, Resin Rockers may request:

  • Order number
  • Tracking number
  • Full name on the order
  • Shipping address
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the shipping box or mailer
  • Photos of the packing materials
  • Photos of the shipping label
  • Failure to provide requested information may delay or result in denial of the claim.

Theft Claims

For packages marked delivered but not received, Resin Rockers may require additional documentation before approving a replacement, refund, or store credit. Please note a police report will be required to file a theft claim. 

Incorrect Address Policy

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

If an order is shipped to the address provided at checkout, Resin Rockers is not responsible for replacement, refund, or reshipment if that address was incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or entered by mistake.

If the package is returned to Resin Rockers, we may offer to reship the order at the customer’s expense.

Package Refusals

Shipping Protection does not cover refused packages.

If a customer refuses delivery, the order will be handled under our Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy. Return shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee may apply.

Carrier Delays

Shipping Protection does not cover normal carrier delays.

Once a package is accepted by the carrier, Resin Rockers does not control carrier scan timing, routing, weather delays, holiday delays, customs delays, or delivery speed.

Shipping Protection may apply only if the package becomes eligible as lost, stolen, or damaged under this policy.

Claims Review Process

Once your claim is submitted, Resin Rockers will review your order details, carrier tracking, fulfillment records, claim history, and any documentation provided.

If your claim is approved, Resin Rockers may offer one of the following resolutions:

  • Replacement shipment
  • Store credit
  • Refund to the original payment method
  • Partial replacement, credit, or refund if only part of the order was affected

Resin Rockers reserves the right to choose the most appropriate resolution based on the order details, product availability, claim history, and circumstances of the shipment.

Product Availability

If an item is out of stock, discontinued, seasonal, limited edition, final sale, or no longer available, Resin Rockers may issue a gift card or a refund instead of a replacement.

Substitutions may be offered only when Resin Rockers and the customer agree to the substitute item.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit card company, payment provider, or financial institution.

Shipping Protection does not replace Resin Rockers’ legal obligations for unshipped merchandise. If an order cannot be shipped as required by applicable law, Resin Rockers will follow applicable refund requirements.

False, Abusive, or Excessive Claims

Resin Rockers reserves the right to deny any claim that appears fraudulent, abusive, incomplete, inconsistent with carrier records, or outside the stated claim window.

We may also limit or deny future Shipping Protection eligibility for customers, accounts, households, or shipping addresses with repeated, excessive, or suspicious claim activity.

Submitting false information may result in denial of the claim and refusal of future service.

Submitting a false claim regarding theft of a package will be be subject to prosecution.  This is a federal offense and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Full name on the order
  • Shipping address
  • Tracking number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos, if the package or product was damaged
  • Any supporting documentation requested by Resin Rockers

Claims submitted without required information may be delayed or denied.

Important Notes

Shipping Protection is optional and must be selected at checkout.  Higher ticket items may require Shipping Protection as part of the purchase. 

Shipping Protection must be included at the time the order is placed. It cannot be added after checkout.

If Shipping Protection is removed, declined, or disabled, Resin Rockers is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once the carrier accepts the shipment. The customer will need to work directly with the carrier.

Shipping Protection does not override our Terms of Service, Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy, or any rights required by applicable law.

Resin Rockers reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that order.
