This adorable gumball machine shaker mold is a Resin Rockers exclusive, designed in-house. It will allow you to create a cute little shaker full of moveable pieces. This is a more shallow mold so that it is not bulky or heavy. It was designed to make a dry shaker, but can become a liquid shaker by drilling a hole in the finished piece. Check out our shaker filler and shaker film to finish off your piece. Seal in the film with Resin Rocker UV Resin for a glass-like finish.
This mold will cure amazingly with Resin Rockers UV Resin or Resin Rockers Perfect Pour 1:1 epoxy resin. Epoxy resins with less than a 24-hour cure time are not recommended, as they could potentially damage the mold. My preferred method is epoxy, followed by topping with UV resin.
For the etching (detail) use an acrylic paint marker to coat before you cast or brush acrylic paint into the grooves after using a silicone brush.
